We were invited to collaborate with the architecture studio Llano Arquitectos to developing their whole brand identity. Although they have been strong players in the architecture field for quite a while, being busy with beautiful projects had left them with little time to develop a brand personality that spoke about what they are really about.
We spent some time working very closely to understand what set their work apart, playing with textures from their favourite materials like brushed cements or cast iron, grasping the importance of light and shadow in a well designed space, and making the best of a limited color palette. This journey took us into a brand development that incorporates overprints, rich cotton papers and textures that appear in unexpected surfaces with the help of embossing and understated colours.
Being subtle whilst making an impact was our greatest challenge, and making sure that the stationery development could go hand in hand with the studio’s ever evolving body of work was our most important goal.
